"LORI'S LITTLE MUSTARD SEED" - CHRISTIAN FAMILY CHILD CARE

SCHOOL DESCRIPTION AND PHILOSOPHY:

LLMS is a safe, nurturing family childcare environment where your child will get the care and attention needed. Certified Type - B Professional in Cuyahoga county since 2004, I have met and exceeded all health and safety guidelines during each inspection. Through participation in Starting Point's "Care For Kids" Program LLMS has earned a GOLD SEAL for six consecutive years.

Our ratio of children to adults is always within state guidelines.

"I believe that all children have the same basic needs and rights -- to feel safe, loved, accepted and respected. I believe that they are all different and unique gifts from God; and I value the opportunity to sow positive seeds into your child's unique destiny. LLMS is a place where all children are accepted, regardless of race, color, or nationality. Children with special needs will be accepted depending on my ability to meet that special need at the time they need to be enrolled and according to the number of children that I am serving at that particular time. I believe that all areas of development are interrelated and interdependent. I've learned that in order for children to reach their maximum potential and move to higher levels in every area, they must have a strong, positive, sense of self worth and self-confidence. This will happen when the parents and I work together."

"I believe that parents are the children's first and foremost teachers and they provide the foundation for life. Therefore, I try to make "Lori's Little Mustard Seed" become an extension of the home. I bought my home with the children in mind. So it is safe and child-centered. I set high standards for health and cleanliness. The environment is smoke-free, pet-free, ascetically pleasing, and carefully planned to provide a variety of experiences where your child will learn and have fun! There is a fenced yard, enclosed porch, and an entire floor of dedicated child care space!

"I do not try to "convert' the children; but as I plant seeds of learning, I believe the children will learn to love and respect one another, to cooperate, to solve problems. They will become independent thinkers, good decision makers, and confident leaders. They will prosper and make positive contributions to society. Ultimately, I believe they will love the Lord and be used in God's Kingdom."
